Hello readers, I'm here again to give another movie review that will excite you to also watch the movie. For today's blog, I would like to have a review on Hollywood movie entitled Flatliners starring by Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton and Kiersey Clemons. This movie is a remake from the 1990 original film directed by Joel Schumacher.

Before I start, I will give a brief narration about the story of the movie.
There are five medical students composed of 3 girls and 2 boys who become fervent of doing the perilous experiment. It was started when Courtney tried to stop her heart for a minute with the help of other students named Jamie and Sophia and then, they saw the exceptional effect of the experiment on Courtney's brain. After seeing that, they also tried the flatline one by one with increasing number of minutes. As the time goes by, they started to be haunted by the past mistakes they did and realized that it is the downside of flatlining where intruding into other side makes a supernatural effect in a person.

After watching the movie, I've learned a lesson that even we are in the present times, our sins from the past will never leave in our history. We are growing together with our sins we made before and we shouldn't run away from that instead, start a new life correcting all the mistakes we've made so that we didn't need to be guilty for what happened in our past. At the first scenes of the movie where there's a stunning effect of flatlining in Courtney such as increasing intelligence, remembering how to play piano after a long period of time and answering all the questions flawlessly. I wondered if I were given an intelligence just like them to be able do that, would I do the same? My answer is I don't know because we people, always not contented of what we have. We seek for more things and I can't blame ourselves because we are human and there's an existence of survival of the fittest. However, if I were given a chance to rate the movie, I will give 9/10 because even though I love sci-fi movie, I'm still looking for something.
